- Use the dried blooms to make sachets. (You can find tiny organza drawstring pouches at Michaels in the bridal section.)
- Put a couple of drops of lavender essential oil onto your vacuum cleaner bag or vent.
- Add a few drops of lavender essential oil to your cleaning solution when you clean floors.
- Combine several drops with water in a spray bottle and use as a linen spray or air freshener.
- Toss together 1 cup of sugar and 1 Tbs. of dried lavender blooms. Let sit for 1-2 weeks in an airtight container for delicately flavored lavender sugar. (Sift through a fine mesh sieve to remove blooms before using.)
- Add several drops of lavender essential oil to epsom salts for a relaxing soak.
- Make herb-infused honey by pressing 2 sprigs of lavender into the jar. Let steep for 5 days before removing.
